I keep going back to this place because it's perfect for a romantic escape. The staff even helped me find places with a good exchange rate. It has Wi-Fi, an outdoor dining area, a restaurant, and a flat-screen TV. I always have everything I need.

Title: Perfect for a Family Retreat in the Countryside
For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.

An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including horse riding and hiking. The kids absolutely loved the horse riding lessons and exploring the beautiful countryside. It was a perfect place for a family adventure!
My kids wished there was a playground on-site.

The value for money at this hotel was exceptional, with comfortable and spacious rooms that were well-appointed. The location was idyllic, with a beautiful courtyard and a pond, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with the addition of some potatoes or rice to accompany the main course.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel in a beautiful location in the Forest of Eawy. The hotel facilities were excellent, with clean and well-presented rooms. The breakfast was the best I've had, with a delicious selection of bread, croissants, cheese, and fruit. The staff were friendly and provided authentic French hospitality.
All was perfect.

The views from the hotel were breathtaking, allowing us to experience the beautiful countryside. the hotel offered great access to explore the surrounding area, making it convenient for nature lovers like us.
the state of the sink in the kitchen/lounge area was quite unpleasant, as it had a persistent odor of cow dung. the flaking paint on the walls in the room was a bit off-putting.

We stayed here as a larger group of friends and loved the rustic charm and rural surroundings. the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and separate WC and bathroom. the luxury spa shower was a nice touch. the lounge area for guests was a great place to relax, and having a fridge for our essentials was convenient. We enjoyed the three-course evening meal, although there was no choice as it was a plat de jour style. the breakfast with bread, croissants, cheese, and fruit was delicious. the farm atmosphere with horses, donkeys, dogs, peacocks, geese.
We felt right at home at Au Mesnil Le Bas Bray and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

Rustic and quiet location, beautiful landscape views, and charming old furniture in the rooms added to the overall ambiance of the establishment. the diversity of animals wandering around - chickens, peacocks, geese, cats, and dogs - was a delightful bonus. the owner was knowledgeable and amiable, offering a brief history of the location. the set meal for dinner was delicious, with locally produced food.
The pet supplement charge was excessive and misleading considering the abundance of the animals already present on the estate. By comparison, charging guests for heat during chilly weather, felt unusual and unreasonable.

There were so many activities to enjoy with our friends. We went horse riding and hiking in the beautiful surroundings. It was awesome to be surrounded by nature and have the chance to explore. We had such a blast and made memories that will last forever!
The only thing that could have made our stay even more fun is if there was a party or nightlife scene nearby. As young party-going people, it would have been great to have some options for a night out.
